MicroMouse: An Intelligent Maze Solver Robot
نویسندگان
چکیده
The Micro-Mouse is an autonomous robot that is capable of moving about within a maze and finding its way to the center in the shortest possible amount of time. The complete robotic system is a synthesis of mechanical design, motor control, sensory input systems, electrical design and software development system.

The micromouse is an intelligent robot that is designed to search a shortest path to the destination in a unknown maze, which can memory the complex maze information automatically after searching. Micromouse based on MCS-51 series MCU are affected by the hardware and software, is difficult to use more advanced intelligent algorithms, which leads to the micromouse can not be quickly explore the ...
متن کاملPrinciple and Realization of Micromouse Fast Dashing Turning Based on STM32
Micromouse is an intelligent maze robot. Affected by the ability of MCU, micromouse based on MCS-51 can not guarantee the performance of micromouse in quick dashing. High speed micromouse servo controller based on STM32 was designed; In order to meet the fast dashing of micromouse in a complicated maze environment, different speed-time curves were used. To realize the fast turning of micromouse...

متن کاملRobot Mice Draw Crowds, TV Coverage at NCC
The first time trial of the IEEE Spectrum/Computer Amazing MicroMouse Maze Contest brought large audiences and CBS affiliate KNXT of Los Angeles to the IEEE booth at the NCC's Personal Computing Festival. Six mice actually attempted to run IEEE's maze, but only two successfully found their way through it. However, contest manager (and emcee) Roger Allan noted that he has received word of over 5...
متن کاملCognitive Models of Spatial Navigation from a Robot Builder's Perspective
Complete physically embodied agents present a powerful medium for the investigation of cognitive models for spatial navigation. This paper presents a maze solving robot, called a micromouse, that parallels many of the behaviours found in its biological counterpart, the rat. A cognitive model of the robot is presented and its limits investigated. Limits are found to exist with respect to biologi...
